Dentists look at smiles in two ways. The first is by looking at one with nothing but a bright light and their eyes. The second way is by looking at X-rays. With an X-ray, we can get a clearer picture of how your child’s teeth are doing and to ensure your child’s safety with the X-ray process, we’ve taken two precautions.
First, we use only digital X-rays, which emit up to 90% less radiation than traditional radiography. Second, we follow all X-ray guidelines set forth by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. That way, your child receives the kind of safe but thorough care he or she needs for a healthier smile.
